Home-School Communication
A welcome video to the Korea International School, Seoul Campus community upon appointment as Seoul Campus Principal
A welcome back video to the Korea International School, Seoul Campus community in April 2020, when our campus was cleared to re-open after 14+ weeks of virtual learning.
Professional Communication
I am lucky to be part of the EduTribe, a collective of 6 women leaders from 6 countries committed to inquiry and life-long learning. Check out our first episode of Table Talk, where we discuss our perspectives on the article Teacher Agency in Curriculum Contexts (Campbell, 2012).
A wonderful colleague, Jerome, hosts a podcast called Teacher/Jetsetter. I was honored to be interviewed for episode 1 of the podcast on the day that our school moved to virtual learning in 2020.
It was fun being part of my dear friend Aga’s 100 Languages Instagram Live channel where we conducted a SWOT analysis of “the new normal.”
I had the pleasure of connecting with the firm Kinetic West and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction for the State of Washington, USA, where I shared the KIS Seoul Campus school reopening plan and experience, contributing to a case study on best practices for school reopening after COVID closures in Washington.
Communication with Students
Virtual PE Lessons (Pre-K to Grade 5)
As principal, I recently had the pleasure of covering PE classes while our PE teacher was on leave and we were learning virtually. Please see the videos below which show PE lessons for Early Years and Upper Elementary.
Whole-School Kindness Challenge
When we unexpectedly went back to virtual learning in the autumn, I partnered with students across the Elementary School to engage in the Principal’s Kindness Challenge and kept in touch with students via our community Seesaw account.

Whole-School Mindfulness Lessons
While learning virtually, I offered regular mindful moments lessons for children as Principal, encouraging learners to take time every day to be present in the moment.
